This Fall: Brad Gushue Takes "The Making of a Champion" on Cross-Canada Book Tour

September 30, 2026

Brad Gushue is bringing his story to readers across Canada this fall with a nationwide book tour for his new memoir, Gushue: The Making of a Champion, co-written with Stephen Brunt.

The tour begins October 27 in Gander, NL, and continues through November with stops in 16 cities across Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Each event offers an opportunity to connect with Brad directly as he shares the behind-the-scenes stories, leadership lessons, and hard-earned insights from three decades of competing at the highest levels of sport.

The Making of a Champion goes beyond the Olympic gold medals and national championships. It's a candid account of building championship culture, navigating pressure, leading through failure, and the real work of turning a group of people into something greater than the sum of their parts—lessons that resonate far beyond the curling rink.

From curling clubs to independent bookstores, malls, and literary festivals, Brad will be in conversation with readers about what it actually takes to perform when everything is on the line, how vulnerability builds stronger teams, and what he's learned about leadership in business and beyond.
