Hailing from St. John's, Newfoundland, Brad Gushue enjoyed a successful career as one of Canada’s most decorated curlers: an Olympic gold and bronze medalist, World Champion, and a six-time national champion. He is widely regarded as one of the most successful athletes Newfoundland and Labrador has ever produced. His impact on the province extends well beyond the ice—a highway, sports complex, and subdivision roads all bear the ‘Team Gushue’ name in recognition of their collective achievements.

But Brad’s story is about more than just curling.

It’s about what happens behind the scenes when a small group of people, each with their own goals, doubts and pressures, choose to hold one another accountable and push each other to be better every single day. It’s about the quiet moments before the biggest shots, when the nerves are real and vulnerability is not a weakness, but the thing that keeps you connected, steady and focused on the end goal.

Brad now brings those lessons and experiences to leadership conferences, corporate off-sites, schools, and team development events across Canada. His talks are candid, story‑driven, and grounded in real life, built for people who want to lead, build trust, and perform at their very best.
