Today marked the official opening of the completed Team Gushue Highway in Mount Pearl.
The final phase extends the highway from Topsail Road to the Commonwealth Avenue, Brookfield Road and Heavy Tree Road area. The project includes two new roundabouts, an overpass, auxiliary access roads and the realignment of Brookfield Road.
This new connection will provide more efficient access to key health-care, education and community services, while helping reduce congestion and improve traffic flow between St. John’s, Mount Pearl and surrounding communities.
